I was in a mood for a HDR. I was browsing through one of my favourite hdr-producers (Klaus, yes, it’s you :) ) and it made me wanna play a little more with this technique. In this pic I was aiming at balance between a realistic and hdr-surrealistic look. Oil barrels are not the most exciting objects, so I wanted to spice it up. Oh and it’s a so-called fake hdr, made from a single raw file.

This is an excellent example of HDR even if its a ‚fake’ one, it isn’t over done, and the HDR really adds a 3d quality to the shot, excellent stuff!

Hi Joanna … thanks for the flowers! You make a great job on this one .. REALY!! This one of HDRi … i’m loving. You mix the contrast very good. I don’t like HDRi with a overdose effect .. it must have a natural touch. Perfect treatment … you my preference in the future ;-))

Barrels of oil are quite a hot subject. Just look at the price of one and how it affects the whole world when it is full. Then when it is empty you have to think where did it go and what damage to the environment it has done. PS good HDR conversion.
